Villa Maya Retreat boasts four pools including the large main pool and three plunge pools adjoined to bedroom pavilions. Featuring open-plan living areas and generous outdoor spaces for relaxing and soaking up the sun, the property is truly a nature lover’s paradise.
Built in traditional Balinese style, the thatch roof living pavilion houses comfy sofas and couches arranged around the wide-screen TV. Opening to the main pool and cascading gardens is an elegant dining area equipped with a long table seating the whole group. Next to the dining area is a fully-equipped kitchen.
The outdoor area is the villa’s statement piece. Built on the edge of a tropical river, Villa Maya Retreat boasts a spectacular natural setting and plenty of lounging spots. Flanking the main pool are multiple sun loungers and traditional open-sided gazebos. Hidden in the lush greenery is a dreamy outdoor lounge with a long white couch and white parasols offering a shaded retreat in the beautiful surroundings.
Scattered throughout the ample garden, all six bedrooms are divided into pavilions. Three of them have attached plunge pools while the remaining three rooms boast magnificent views of the tropical river. All rooms have king-sized beds and state-of-the-art ensuite bathrooms.
Villa Maya Retreat is located in Tabanan village on the West coast of Bali. Tucked away from the main tourist drag, the village offers the feel of ‘real’ Bali providing majestic views and relaxed vibes. However, for those craving some excitement, Canggu village dotted with a myriad of cafes, bars and shops is only a 20-minute drive away.
